Terms and Conditions for Jotish Bani

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Jotish Bani mobile application or website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and astrologers who access our service.

2. Nature of Service (Astrology Disclaimer)

• Guidance Only: Astrology is an interpretive science. All consultations, predictions, and reports provided on Jotish Bani are for guidance and entertainment purposes only.

• No Professional Advice: Our services do not constitute professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Decisions made based on consultations are the sole responsibility of the user.

• No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the 100% accuracy of any astrological prediction or the effectiveness of any suggested remedies.

3. Slot Booking and Payment

• Session-Based Booking: Our platform operates on a slot-booking model. Users must book a specific time duration (e.g., 15 mins, 30 mins) for a fixed fee.

• Fixed Pricing: Consultation rates are fixed per session/slot as per the astrologer’s profile. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• Wallet/Direct Payment: To confirm a booking, the required fee must be paid upfront through the Jotish Bani wallet or integrated payment gateways.

4. User Conduct and Responsibility

• Age Requirement: Users must be at least 18 years of age.

• Accurate Data: Users must provide accurate birth details (Time, Date, Place) for correct chart generation. Jotish Bani is not responsible for incorrect predictions due to inaccurate user data.

• Prohibited Behavior: Any use of abusive language, harassment, or sharing of obscene content during audio/video calls will lead to an immediate ban and forfeiture of the session fee.

5. Astrologer-User Relationship

• In-App Communication: All consultations must take place within the Jotish Bani application.

• No Private Exchange: Users and Astrologers are strictly prohibited from exchanging personal contact information (Phone numbers, Email, Social Media links). Jotish Bani is not liable for any interactions or transactions occurring outside the platform.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• User Cancellation: Cancellation of a booked slot must be done at least [Insert Time, e.g., 2 hours] before the session to be eligible for a refund/reschedule.

• Late Arrival: If a user joins late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. If a user fails to join (No-show), no refund will be issued.

7. Limitation of Liability

Jotish Bani, its owners, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or reliance on any information provided by the experts.

8. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Purba Medinipur/Kolkata, West Bengal.
