Refund and Cancellation Policy for Jotish Bani

At Jotish Bani, we value the time of both our users and our expert astrologers. Since our platform operates on a Fixed Slot Booking model, we follow a transparent refund and cancellation process as outlined below:

1. User-Initiated Cancellations

• Advance Cancellation: If you cancel your booked slot at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time, a 100% refund will be credited to your Jotish Bani Wallet.

• Last-Minute Cancellation: If a cancellation is made less than 2 hours before the session, 50% of the booking fee will be deducted as a convenience fee for the astrologer's reserved time. The remaining 50% will be refunded to your wallet.

• No-Show Policy: If you fail to join the audio/video call within the first 10 minutes of the scheduled slot, the session will be marked as a "No-Show" and no refund will be issued.

2. Technical Issues & Disruptions

• Platform Issues: If a consultation cannot take place due to a technical glitch on the Jotish Bani app (e.g., server failure), a full refund or a free reschedule will be provided after internal verification.

• Internet Connectivity: Jotish Bani is not responsible for failed sessions due to poor internet connection or device issues at the user’s end.

• Call Drops: If a call drops mid-session due to platform errors, a pro-rata refund (based on remaining time) will be credited to your wallet.

3. Astrologer-Initiated Cancellations

• If an astrologer is unable to attend the scheduled slot due to an emergency, the user will receive a 100% refund to their wallet immediately, or they can choose to reschedule the slot at no extra cost.

4. Refund Processing Mode (Wallet Priority)

• Wallet-First Refund: To ensure that funds are immediately available for your next booking and to avoid banking delays, all refunds are primarily credited back to the Jotish Bani Wallet.

• Bank Refunds: If a user specifically requests a refund back to their original payment source (Bank/UPI/Card), the request must be sent to info@jotishbani.com.

• Deductions: Please note that bank refunds may be subject to the deduction of Payment Gateway processing fees. Such refunds typically take 5-7 working days to reflect in your account.

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

• Prediction Accuracy: No refunds will be issued based on the accuracy or outcome of the astrological predictions. Astrology is a matter of belief and interpretation.

• Inaccurate Birth Details: No refunds will be provided if a prediction is incorrect due to the user providing an inaccurate Date, Time, or Place of Birth.

• User Dissatisfaction: Refunds are not granted based on personal dissatisfaction with an astrologer’s advice or style.
